SMS Terms & Opt-In

4Kay Event Pros ("we", "us", "our") sends transactional and service-related
text messages through Twilio to customers and vendors who have opted in.
This page describes the program, the types of messages you can expect,
message frequency, costs, and how to stop messages at any time.
Program description
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box on
our Site or in your account settings, you expressly consent to receive
automated text messages from 4Kay Event Pros at the number you provided.
Consent is not required as a condition of any purchase. You can use the
Service without opting in to SMS.
Types of messages
- Booking confirmations and updates
- Delivery, setup, and pickup reminders
- Quote request and estimate updates
- Payment receipts and balance reminders
- Vendor follow-up and customer questions
- Time-sensitive account or safety notifications
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS without separate, express
consent.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity on the Service (for example,
how many active bookings or quote requests you have). On average customers
can expect up to a few messages per active booking.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
4Kay Event Pros does not charge you to receive SMS, but your carrier may.
Help and Stop
- Reply HELP to any message for help, or email admin@4kayevents.com.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out of all SMS from 4Kay Event Pros.
- You can also turn SMS off at any time from your account settings.
Opting out may disable critical service notifications (e.g. last-minute
booking changes or delivery alerts). You will still receive transactional
email where applicable.
Supported carriers
Supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon
Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and most
regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered
messages.
Privacy
Your mobile number and messaging preferences are handled in accordance with
our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy). We do not sell or share your phone
number with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS messages are
delivered through our service provider, Twilio.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your
jurisdiction) and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile
number you submit.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be
posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
